    1. Not really, that's how it always was for me. Maybe tweak your monitor settings or video driver settings.

Another thing you can do is to download the SweetFX graphical enhancer, you can find it under "Help and Tools" here on the blog, it makes the game a bit more colorful.

  3. Cool Mod. Appreciate your efforts.
    But i have some questions:
    1. how do you biuld an university? the british don't seem to have one but in the pictures above they clearly have.
    2. the british also don't have the bank :S

    1. Yes, both buildings have been removed in time as the mod updates very often and their functionality and necessity were reconsidered many times. The University is now an Asian only building and like in vanilla only Dutch can build Banks. However, the Church can be upgraded to produce coin for any euro civ.
      For now at least... :)

  4. Hey, can you tell me if it is possible to stil build "Normal" walls in IM? Or can you just build the huge fort walls?

    1. Fort walls are an upgrade, you start with wooden walls and then upgrade to stone as you did before, but now you can also further upgrade to fort walls, so if you don't want to you just don't...

And if you have problems making them face the right way just follow the clockwise!

  5. Hi. I play your mod a lot. Thanks again for your work :D
I've played trough all of the nations the last months and there's just one thing, that bothers me. The population limit of the chinese. In vanilla they have 20 more than the other civs, but in this mod they have 300, like everyone else. You should consider changing the chinese population limit to 330 or something like that.
Thanks for reading and have a good day.

    1. Hey there. Yes, the Chinese thing is a sensible thing but its more complicated than it seems. First of all, modifying the population is an extremely hard thing to do and I didn't do it by my self, someone else did it and it actually was a first in AoE3 modding, to have the pop modified directly into the exe. So not an easy thing to do.

When I told him to make it 300 I wasn't really sure what I wanted, only that I wanted more pop, as many people suggested. So I went for 300 and made it available to everyone. Then I remembered the Chinese needed more but it was kinda too late.

So here's what I did, When you start the game in Age1 you start with a max of 200 pop. Each age gives you another 20 pop so in Age5 you get to 280 pop. In order to get 300 pop you need to research a pretty expensive tech. Well, the Chinese get to max pop for free in Age5 but they still have that tech which for them the tech increases villager limit by 20, so its still useful.

This is all I could do for them while still giving lots of pop to other civs as well. Its not perfect, I know, but I hope its enough.

    2. Allright, I understand that.
I appreciate your effort and reply but there must be another resolution, because it's really hard fighting against other civs with the same amount of pop limit. In vanilla the +20 pop was a great bonus to be on par with the other civs. Maybe setting down pop cost of the banner armies would help.
But I understand if this isn't possible also ^^
      Thanks for reading and replying.

    3. Your suggestion is entirely possible but it might create more balance problems than fix. I will look into it.

  6. How do I choose the American civ? It won't let me...

    1. You need to go to "Select a home city" and look for Philadelphia. That is, if you have the American civ installed.

If not then download this and follow the instructions inside:
